Collaborating with other musicians, pedagogues and music institutions is extremely important to Monique Pong.
U-BOX
Monique’s commitment to creativity and community has also led to an immersive experience for children to not only experience but be part of the creation. Originally piloted in 2019 and soon to be reborn, U-BOX is an immersive, handcrafted environment that marries live music and visual arts. Designed as a space for both performance and artistic co-creation, U-BOX involves young students in crafting its visual elements, fostering a full-circle learning experience that merges sound, image, and imagination. U-BOX is also all inclusive, actively creating an environment for people with disabilities to equally become immersed.
